2012 Schedule

The Browns
April 17 - 18, 2012

It’s truly a family affair when The Browns hit the stage and deliver the powerful message of the gospel through word and song.  The musical stylings of Shelly, Michaela, Adam, Andrew, Nick and Jessica exude excitement and offer a life-changing experience to all who hear them.  They have been touring for ten years and received the prestigious honors of Top 10 Mixed Group of the Year for two years running and Top Horizon Group of the Year for three years before that.  From singing over 30 shows at the Americana Theatre in Branson to Dollywood stages and on board Royal Caribbean and Carnival cruise ships this award winning family will inspire you with their close-knit family harmony and talent.  The Browns love what they do, love each other, and the audiences to whom they sing.  While the traveling can be hard Shelly said, “Because we know we’re called, it’s been worth it all.  God has opened the doors and there are adventures and blessings behind each one.”

Soul'd Out Quartet with
comedian Aaron Wilburn
June 19  - 20, 2012

Based in Georgetown, Ohio, Soul’d Out Ministries began as a trio and reformed as a quartet in 2004. They tour full time performing in churches, theatres, festivals, Dollywood, Silver Dollar City and on the main stage at the National Quartet Convention.  This group is young, exciting and energetic.  Their performances includes hymns to progressive gospel with a good balance of entertainment and ministry that appeals to all ages.  Appearing with Soul’d Out Quartet will be well-known Christian Comedian Aaron Wilburn.  Also an award-winning songwriter and a member of the Alabama Music Hall of Fame, his travels with the Gaither Homecoming Tour have made him one of the most beloved humorists in both the Christian and secular entertainment world.

Bill Murk
August 28, 2012

Bill Murk is one of the premier Christian violinists today. His rare, sensitive display of violin mastery and his fresh approach breaks old stereotypes and inspires a new appreciation for this instrument while bridging the musical gap between the generations.  As a featured soloist at churches, conferences, conventions, and crusades Bill has ministered in all fifty states and over forty countries!  Whether ministering for 50,000 men at Promise Keepers, fiddlin’ at the Grand Ole Opry, leading worship with Don Moen, or accompanying and recording with such artists as Fernando Ortega, Amy Grant, Steve Green, Point of Grace, Larry Dalton, Buddy Greene, 4Him, or The Gaither Vocal Band, Bill’s desire is to draw people into the presence of the Lord.  Bill’s life and ministry nearly ended in December of 1999 when he and his daughter were hit head-on by a speeding semi-truck. Their journey toward recovery is one filled with both miracles and hardships.

Palmetto State Quartet
October 2 - 3, 2012

PSQ has been a mainstay in Southern Gospel Music since the 1940s.  With nearly 70 years of history behind them, PSQ is regarded as one of the premier Christian recording artists in the industry.  Over the years, many wonderfully talented men have represented PSQ, always delivering the finest vocal harmony and superb stage presence.  That tradition continues today under the leadership of owner Larry Strickland.  After years of managing the career of his wife, Naomi Judd, Larry decided to return to Gospel Music as Bass singer for PSQ.  Together with Lead singer Paul Lancaster, Tenor Robert Fulton and Baritone David Darst Palmetto State Quartet sets a high standard for vocal quality.   With sixteen years in the pulpit Darst also serves as the group’s pastor and gives PSQ the ability to seamlessly transition from Christian entertainment to ministry.  Their concerts are a true blessing to everyone who hears them.
